2009 Sport Leaders

The Year 11 and 12 Leaders, elected House Captains and level representatives work with students to develop the school sports program.

One of our major roles as sports leaders is to organise and co-ordinate weekly meetings. In these we develop ideas with the year level sport representatives for ways in which we can improve Killester's sporting environment. We help organise activities that take place such as major school events like the swimming and athletics carnival, and Brigidine day.

This year we aim:

• To increase interest in sports by using staff vs student matches and lunch time sports.
• To try to initiate a new variety of interschool sports.
