2009 Community Service Leaders

The Year 11 and 12 Leaders, and elected representatives from each level meet each week. The agenda is set by students. Our committee works to plan and organise fund raising activities and programs as well as raising awareness of important issues to help our local and wider community.

Our role as members of the Community Service Committee is to offer our time and services to those in our community. We fund raise through activities, such as casual days and selling various products. We like to support those within Killester and the wider community and raise awareness of issues that affect young women and their families today.

Our aims are to lead and encourage the year levels to participate in sharing our good fortune as members of the Killester community. We hope to work as a team to provide support to people in need and brighten our community in some small way.

Our message to all is to participate in activities around the school and within the community. Each little bit counts and a person's best is always enough.
