The Killester College Library offers a welcoming, caring and user-centred environment. As an integral part of the learning community the library facilitates learning and teaching outcomes by providing a wide range of relevant resources, services and technologies and collaborating with teachers. The library aims to empower students to become independent learners by teaching research skills. The library is proactive in promoting a love of books and reading by providing the Reading Room, a cosy venue for many literature enrichment activities, such as the Book Club, Taste a Tale or Two and book talks.  A reading culture is further encouraged by the library Book Blog, Author of the Month and frequent competitions.

The library is open all day from 8.00 am until 5.00 pm.  The Audio-Visual Department caters for all the audio-visual requirements of the college
