This week we’d like to introduce you to our wonderfully talented and creative Fashion, Textiles and Art teacher Ms. Miha. Ms. Miha has been teaching at Killester for the past 30 years and is a passionate and devoted teacher. Her love for Killester started when she was in fact a student at the College. Ever since she was young she has wanted to be a Teacher, and then a Fashion Designer. So she combined her two loves and is now teaching Fashion Design to our VET students. Here’s our full interview with Ms. Miha:

What is your favourite thing about Killester?
The students of course! They are kind, considerate and caring!
If you had advice/words of wisdom for our girls what would it be?
Be true to yourself, love and respect your family, be kind to yourself and follow your passions but be open to other skills because you never know you might grow a passion!
Is there anything else you would like to tell the Killester community?
Be proud of who you are, always think positive thoughts – because your thoughts become your words and therefore your actions.
